Mazda MX-5 NA GV-Lip Brake Duct – 2.5" (Miata)
A brake cooling duct built to fit Garage Vary (GV) and GV Style front lips on the Mazda MX-5 NA (Miata/Eunos Roadster).
Garage Vary lips vary slightly between genuine and aftermarket copies, and even side to side - this duct is deliberately oversized to absorb that tolerance, so it sits cleanly.
Running 2.5" duct hose to your brakes? This is your size - need 3" instead? See the 3.0" version.
Mounting flanges are left hole-free since GV lip bolt patterns vary - drill your own holes to suit (see FAQ for my recommended way to do it). A top-mounted cleat lets you fit a bracket to support the duct hose, taking load off the scoop itself. M6 mounting hardware is included along with oversize mudguard washers to distribute the load.
3D printed in PETG
This listing is for a pair of ducts, left and right only, no GV lip is included.
3DRX is not affiliated with or endorsed by Garage Vary — this duct is designed for compatibility with their lip shape.
FAQ block:
- Will this fit my Garage Vary lip? Yes - it's built with extra tolerance to suit both genuine Garage Vary lips and common aftermarket copies, accounting for the size variance between them. Though as this is one of the most widely copied lips on market there is small chance you may require to make some adjustment to suit.
- Are mounting holes pre-drilled? No - flanges are left blank so you can position holes to match your specific lip's bolt pattern. I recommend a stepped sheet-metal drill bit rather than a standard fluted bit, which in my experience can split prints when the flutes catch, the step drill I've found great success with but drill slowly. Also a soldering iron can also melt a clean hole through the plastic consolidating the hole sides as it goes.
- What hardware is included? M6 mounting bolts and washers.
- Can the duct pull the lip and bumper together when I bolt it up? No - the duct isn't designed to clamp the GV lip and bumper together. Use clamps to bring the lip and bumper neatly into position first, then bolt the duct on once they're properly seated.
- Any cold-weather installation advice? Yes - I strongly advise installing in warmer conditions where possible. If it's cold, lightly warm the part first (a hair dryer on a low setting works well) before handling or bolting it up, as printed parts are more brittle in low temperatures especially when putting them under stress.
- What's it made from? PETG.

What's the lead time? Made to order - expect 1–2 weeks, depending on current order backlog.
