MX-5 NA Fixed Headlight Covers – Pair (Miata)

Fixed headlight covers for the Mazda MX-5 NA (Miata/Eunos Roadster), designed to replace your pop-up headlight mechanism entirely.

These were designed for a motorsport application, removing the pop-up motor and linkage strips out real weight over the front axle, and the covers also help feed fresh air into the engine bay.

Each side comes with 2 mounting brackets (front and rear) plus mounting hardware. Lights are not included. The buyer should source suitable lighting for their use case. This listing is for the covers and mounting hardware only.

• Are these road legal? These were designed for motorsport use only. If you intend to use on the road ensure you check your local transport regulations.
• What's included? Left and Right hand covers, 2 brackets per side (front + rear), and mounting hardware (nuts, bolts, washers).
• Are lights included? No - you'll need to supply your own lights to fit behind the covers.
• Does this remove the pop-up mechanism? Yes - the entire pop-up motor and mechanism is removed, a real weight saving.
• Is there a clear cover that can cover the whole light housing? No, though a DIY solution could easily be adapted with some thin polycarbonate.
• Does it affect engine bay cooling? It helps feed fresh air into the engine bay once the pop-up mechanism is gone.
• Do I need to drill any holes? No - the covers have threaded inserts, so the hardware bolts straight in with no drilling required.
• Any installation prep needed? Yes - you'll need to remove the headlight rubber gasket/shroud which sits on the front chassis where the oem glass lense sits when closed. The front bracket for the 3DRX housing bolts through the same holes which the rubber gasket is mounted to.
• What's it made from? ASA, 3D printed in-house by 3DRX.
• What's the lead time? Made to order - expect 1–2 weeks, depending on current order backlog.
